Morgan Lewis Adds to Chicago Tax Team

Global law firm Morgan Lewis has added to its Chicago tax team Joshua Richardson, Adam Beckerink, and Michael Liu, who will assist the firm’s clients operating in the aftermath of historic changes in the US tax laws.

Richardson advises multinational corporations in international and domestic tax planning, particularly post-acquisition integration planning and implementation.

Beckerink represents multinational corporations on a full range of state and local tax planning and transactional issues, controversies, and litigation.

Liu focuses on international tax planning issues, working with clients across various industries. He advises multinational companies on cross-border transactions, including inversions and redomestications of private and publicly traded companies, as well as tax-efficient cash repatriation strategies and loss-utilization planning. He counsels clients on post-acquisition integration planning and implementation and transfer pricing planning and implementation.

All three will be resident in the firm’s Chicago office. Liu will also practice in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.
