Morrison & Foerster’s Adds Partner to Tax Team

Tax expert Anthony (Tony) Carbone has joined leading law firm Morrison & Foerster to serve as co-chair of the firm’s Global Tax Department.

Carbone – who will be based out of the firm’s New York office – will also co-chair the firm’s Federal Tax Group.

Carbone’s practice focuses on tax planning strategies and the tax consequences of a wide range of business and investment transactions in the US, and internationally. Carbone, who is a Certified Public Accountant, has extensive experience on the tax aspects of bankruptcy matters and has been involved in many high-profile matters.

Carbone was formerly at the New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
