Austria’s leading tax lawyer, Franz Althuber, has left DLA Piper to start his own firm, Althuber Spornberger & Partners.
Until recently, Althuber was heading the Austrian tax group and co-heading the European tax controversy group at DLA Piper.
Althuber Spornberger & Partners – founded on March 1 – will focus on tax disputes, tax criminal law, and directors’ and officers’ liability.
Maria Althuber-Griesmayr and Martin Spornberger have also joined the firm as founding partners.
