The European Commission has removed Barbados, Panama, UAE, and five others from its list of high-risk jurisdictions.
The following jurisdictions were removed from the list: Barbados, Gibraltar, Jamaica, Panama, the Philippines, Senegal, Uganda, and the United Arab Emirates.
Additionally, the following ten jurisdictions were added to the list: Algeria, Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Laos, Lebanon, Monaco, Namibia, Nepal, and Venezuela.
The European Commission regularly updates the list of high‑risk jurisdictions and is aimed at protecting the EU financial system.
