Germany to update tax treaties with Austria, Switzerland

Germany has signed protocols to amend its tax treaties with Austria and Switzerland.

The protocols were signed on August 21, 2023. The protocols seek to incorporate key tax-treaty related recommendations of the OECD.

The protocols must be ratified before they can come into force.
