Artur Braga has joined São Paulo firm WZ Advogados as a Tax Partner.
Braga joined WZ Advogados after a 20-year career at Ernst and Young (EY). Braga specializes in advising clients in cross-border tax planning, tax litigation, audit reviews, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.
Braga’s experience includes projects for companies in the energy, manufacturing, technology, FMCG, financial, real estate, pharmaceutical, communications, and entertainment industries.
From 2007 to 2010, Braga led the Brazilian Tax Desk in the New York office of EY, where he assisted US multinationals to do business in Brazil.
Braga holds a degree in Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of São Paulo and is a post-graduate in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
